In accordance with State Assembly Bill No. 337 and State Senate Bill No. 63, the City of Highland is posting this “Local Responsibility Area Fire Hazard Severity Zones Map” published by the State Fire Marshall on March 25, 2025, for public review and comment. The City is required to adopt this map by ordinance within 120 days of receiving this State Fire Marshal recommended Fire Hazard Severity Zone Map. Prior to the City Council adoption, a public hearing notice will be posted in accordance with city policy at least ten (10) day prior to the public hearing date.
