**If a tree is near a Southern California Edison (SCE) power line, please contact SCE customer support at 1-800-655-4555.
To ensure city-maintained trees keep their structure and good health, the City includes tree maintenance in its annual budget. Generally, the City follows a 5-Year Rotation that ensures each tree is visually inspected and trimmed/pruned at a minimum of once every 5 years. While trimming, the tree is inspected for any structural concerns that can be corrected or potential concerns such as disease or infestations. City contractors operate under the supervision of a Certified Arborist to ensure specific criteria are followed when trimming is performed.
